Just bought two 7 foot Nimbus giraffe unicycles and couldn't be happier.
The fact that this unicycle morphs into two different sizes makes buying one a no-brainer.
Seven feet is plenty high for a unicycle. From an audience perspective seven feet up on one wheel looks stupidly dangerous. Just the crowd reaction we've been looking for.
These unicycles look great and the double-chains make for a smooth as silk ride. We love how easily the top post and seat remove from the bottom half of the unicycle making for easy transport in our mini van.
Great price and super quality, what more could you ask for? Highly recommended.
Very portable and versatile unicycle

This unicycle is a great unicycle if you plan on going higher and higher because instead buying a new unicycle if you want to go to 7ft or 9ft ect. you just have to get more chain and extensions which you can purchase on unicycle.com.
Perfect for my travels

After riding a 6' giraffe for many years, but having to drive to shows in other states, Unicycle.com came out with this one. It has many benefits that I was looking for.
First, it comes completely apart into pieces no bigger than 20", so it fits into my standard suitcases when I fly.
Second, after the first time I put it together, it is very easy to assemble. So easy, that in a pinch, I asked two guys backstage to assemble it for me while I started the show. They did it the first time!
Third, when performing on cruise ships, the ceiling heights can vary a lot, and the ability to make this one either 5' or 7' tall is a plus.
Lastly, I can assemble it in 10 minutes, and disassemble it in under 5, so it is very convenient when traveling from show to show on a plane.
All three of my unicycles (now, all Unicycle.com brand) fit into two suitcases, along with the rest of my magic and juggling supplies, and both come in under the 50 pound limit.
Overall, an excellent unicycle at a great price.
Great cycle for traveling performer

Nice, goes together with no tools, fits in a large suitcase with my other 20" unicycle, and comes in at just under 50 lbs. for flying. No more oversized luggage cost, or waiting for oversize luggage to arrive (it almost always comes out last). The cycle rides smoothly. Double chain is nice. I got a mid size addition, and more chains, which allows this to be ridden at almost the exact hight of an old taller (6 1/2') Tom Miller unicycle, which I rode for years. Chain guards broke in travel a couple of times. but I fixed those temporarily with gaff tape, and permanantly with 2 part epoxy that's made for plastic. I put piece of gaff on the seatpost, so that the perfect height is automatic. I've even, in a pinch, set this up in front of the audience. It's that quick.

This unicycle is very high quality, and is very thrilling especially when on the 7-foot setting. I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking to upgrade their giraffe unicycle

I've owned this unicycle for about 4 year now and is still in almost perfect condition! It's amazing quality will make it last forever and the fact that it comes apart makes it SUPER portable. I can even fit it in my small Toyota Echo with my other 2 unicycles! if you want to get a unicycle that you won't ever have to replace ... this is the one!
Quality and versatility in a great giraffe

The unicycle is out of my price range, so I wasn't going to buy it, but my girlfriend bought it for my birthday. And I am very glad she did.
Right out of the box I was impressed with the tubing of the frame and the clever design of this uni. I have been riding 6' one wheelers for years so I immediately converted it to the seven foot mode.
I like the feel of the two chains. The quick release levers to take the frame apart is really handy and quick. You still have to get your tools out though, to change the chain which is a bit of a nuisence. I don't know if that design could be Improved. I wrench is supplied.
The seat is comfortable and I really like the front seat handle on unicycles nowadays. I'm old scool, but it didn't take long for me to get used to it.
The pedals were too grippy for me. When I dismount or reposition my foot for a trick I like my foot to move when I want it to, so I changed to a rubber pedal. It maybe just my personal preference though.
It's not common knowlege that more extentions and chain is available to make the giraffe even taller that 7'.
Over all I love this cycle and would recommend it to anyone wanting to take a chain driven ride!

im 14 saved up for this one for a while, total worth every dime i spent on it. the 2 chains make a nice smooth ride, and the kh saddle is nice. id suggest getting the DX metal pedals to go along with this bc the ones it comes with r junk. other than that it is a great versital uni for anyone, advanced to beginner.
