Good challenge with some pain

I got this ultimate wheel last summer and I could be considered a more novice uni-cyclist. Learning to ride the wheel has been a bit of a challenge because when I wear shorts I get scraped by the wheel and when I wear jeans, the friction from the wheel rotating pulls the pants around my leg and I fall. If you buy this (which I highly suggest) the best remedy I have found is tying a small piece of rope around the bottoms of my pant legs. I am also asking a friend of mine to help me by creating custom chaps that would only cover my inner shins and hold the wheel in place as I learn. I hope to master this thing soon but until then, good luck to anyone else who follows me!
Love this wheel!

This wheel is VERY lightweight.
This makes a big difference for rolling tricks, hops and spinning stuff. It's also very durable making it a great long term investment if you are looking for something new to try.
Hard to master but the effort soon pays off

The 24" is a great size wheel to begin ultimate wheeling on and allows one to easily do freestyle tricks while also being suitable for longer distances. I got the wheel about 2 months ago and quite frankly learning was hard. The tire is always rubbing against my legs and requires some serious padding to be put in place during beginning stages of riding. Also the friction caused by this rubbing hinders the tire's ability to freely move and drastically increases the difficulty level to ride this machine. As skill progresses though, these issues slowly begin to fade. These negatives of course are not the fault of the machine's quality but are simply a reality brought with such an odd device. The overall quality of this wheel is phenomenal. It has suffered through countless falls and crashes but still looks new. Do not be hindered by the seemingly high price for a wheel as the workmanship put into it and the fun that will be experienced through it far outweigh this menial issue. Overall it is worth your while and I can't think of a better way that I could have spent my parents money.
