Shorter cranks are preferred by distance riders. The rotation of your legs and knees is significantly reduced, enabling you to relax and ride longer distances. 102-mm crank arms are a standard size on small wheels like 8-inch or 12-inch. 110-mm and 127-mm are typically installed on a 20-inch wheel.
