Hello from Amsterdam!
I made the trip across the Atlantic however it took more than I
expected. Air Canada was kind enough to put me up in Toronto for a
couple of days after they missed the connecting flight to Iceland. I
made the best of it riding in the city and enjoying some nice fall
days. I road down towards the waterfront and found a unicycle but no
rider, too bad. Two workers said the fellow wears a suit to work and
it is his daily commuter. Hi to whoever you are and I have a pic of
our uni’s together!
Finally on to Sweden, or little Canada as it is otherwise known to
some of us. The trails connecting the communities and neighbourhoods
are a fabulous way to get around. Unn, my Swedish guide, and I rode
all over these trails together which was a lot of fun since we had not
ridden together since Guatemala. We also rode in Stockholm amongst all
Stockholm is a beautiful city with water everywhere. I
met with Peter from UDC Sweden and he arranged a ride with his group
of riders. We had a lot of fun in the gym and afterwards several of us
went out for a cross country ride Thanks to all of you for the fun.
I spent a couple of days riding in Copenhagen on the way to Amsterdam.
I rode right off my map at one point! I asked a lady on a bike for
some help with directions and got straightened out. The man beside her
showed quite a bit of interest in my uni asking questions and whatnot,
turns out it was Jesper from UDC Denmark! What a small world we live
